I have faith that more Americans (in general) have morals, ethics, principles and humanity, than not. That includes (to a smaller degree) politicians.

Keep in mind that humanity is flawed to begin with and if you look, you will always find something to support your view. The reality is that perfection has never and will never exist.

Politics has always been the same and will never change. Having said that, there are some politicians that do have morals, ethics, principles and humanity and the U.S. over the long term has usually gone forward (not regressed), meaning that your views are the extremes of the situation.
