My wife got the vaccine, because it was required by her employer.
I did not get the jab/vax.
We both caught and had COVID at the same time.
For us it was no worse than most flu. Less severe than some of the worst flu.

Depends on the strain.
My next door neighbor caught it and lost his sense of smell permanently.
I caught it from my wife and it just made me cough a lot at night.

Yeah, my wife and I both caught it the first time around. I was tired for about 9 hours, then perked back up.

My wife though, she was miserable for two days, and lost most of her sense of smell. She still hasn't gotten it back.

Probably good for our marriage though!

Haven't seen her posts in ages.
Course up until a couple weeks ago....I had her on ignore.
Still difficult believing she was a Naval Officer......but I really hate Naval Officers.
They're pretty much swelled headed egomaniacs.
I have little use for the ones I've had dealings with.

I saw an actual picture of her, no way did she serve, unless it was as a biological bomb, dropped from an airplane.

I always say I'm older than fire and twice as hot. (With a few extra wrinkles. )

Congratulations that you're still young enough to get up at all. I have been very active and reasonably physically fit most of my life--I could sit down cross legged without using my hands and get up again with using my hands. But I remember the first time I couldn't. I was leader of our senior group at Church and wanted a photo of our guest speaker at our monthly luncheon. I squatted down with my camera to get a good angle for the shot and to my dismay, I couldn't stand up again. It was scary and a bit heart breaking at the time. But since I have been resigned to and usually accept my new limitations.

This probably isn't the thread for this, but I'll post it anyway. Now honestly, would you look at and listen to this person and feel bad calling it a 'him'? But okay, it obviously want to be seen as a 'her' so you apologize profusely. But that's not enough. It feels unsafe now so it doesn't want the product.

The funniest part is this:

When any biological male who has undertaken any efforts to change his gender to female is nevertheless referred to with a pronoun r term which assumes that he is a “he,” the whining we get is that he has been “misgendered.”

Of course, in reality, that claim is entirely a lie. Boiled down to its essence, the complaint is actually that he has been correctly gender-identified.
