Both are getting more intense as a result of climate change. There's only so much people can do to control them and I'm sure they're doing their best they can to deal with it. I would put in mandatory fire walls as much as possible. And clean out as much brush as possible at the end of the rainy season when things start to dry out. I'm sure they already do these things but when the problem gets bigger the solutions should get bigger too.

I never wait for the government. If something is too expensive, I don't buy it. That reduces the 'demand' side of the equation. Reduced demand usually results in lower prices.

Just replace the breakfast eggs with a little more milk and peanut butter and you've got your daily protein.

Most everything I buy is on sale. I save at least 25%. Once it worked out that they owed me money. They said they couldn't do that. I got everything for nothing.
