There will no doubt be a medal and associated ribbon for all military personnel who served in that theater. But the Commander in Chief rarely if ever gets one.

Without question, the weakening of Iran is great for the world, regardless of ones view of the war itself. Israel has never been wrong about the risk they pose, especially once China turned them into a client state of sorts.

However, NATO needs to be more proactive and demanding of not just Russia but also China which by extension would have rescued the Iranian citizens decades ago.

The issue is the cost and time. America cannot begin another 20 year war, or, be responsible for freeing the oil meant for Europe when Iran controls it.

The Left has chosen to forget how awful Iran is...the unprovoked attacks on Israel, their support for terrorist groups in the region, the forceful repression of opposition in their own country, including the recent MURDER of - I don't know - 30 or 40 thousand protesters, the secret pursuit of nuclear weapons in violation of international law and commitments they have made in the recent past.

They have, in the eyes of today's Left, converted themselves into VICTIMS, which makes them the Good Guys, right? Oppressor, Oppressed. No question which the U.S. is , and which one Iran is.
