CA's real estate market prevents people from even consider moving there.

My daughter had a one-bedroom apartment in National City about a dozen years ago. The rent was double the mortgage I have on a 2000 sq. foot home on an acre of land.

It is about time it collapsed. The savings from inflated salaries would be a boon to the industries based there.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that children of illegal aliens cannot be targeted because they attend schools. They are allowed a free and appropriate public education just like all children. Unless that ruling changes, it effectively bans ICE from school grounds for the purposes of finding illegals..
