The guy I'm talking to takes a position that if you don't vote you can't *****... That's ignorant or just mentally retarded, take your pick. If I don't feel anyone on the ballot represents me, not necessarily 100%, but maybe like 62% or greater... Then what is the point of voting? It's kinda hard to "compromise" on issue where I have to give up entirely on one issue just to get one that I agree with... I might like a Republicans position who happens to be running for Senate when it comes to *a* tax, but then I have to also accept an unconstitutional position that Gays should not be allowed to get married? Flat out Big Government and oppressive really. A clear breach in Church and state.

The reason we are divided is simple, we are a progressive liberal nation. Both Reps and Dems grow Government and while most people still believe that there is a far right (small Government) and a far left (Giant Government) reality is there is only a singular party. Both parties cut taxes but continue to spend more. Both parties do wars not backed up by the constitution... Both parties spy on people and both parties hand trillions to the rich to loan to all of us.

So if you keep voting for these people then yes, you are to blame. You have option(s)... Not just Big Government Republican or Big Government Democrat, you can vote third party, independent, or just not vote if no one represents you. But if you vote and win, you must accept responsibility for the candidate you supported.

It's an impossibly easy concept to understand, the idea that if you don't vote you can't ***** is as dumb as claiming evolution or gravity are not real and just theory.
