I hate to say this, but to be fair, if you have been working the past 45 years, it is because you COULD work the past 45 years, and if you never asked someone else to pay your way, then you never NEEDED to.

BTW, someone else wouldn't pay your way, the government would pay your way out of tax dollars collected which would be collected either way whether you were sick or not.

It is the government's decision, not yours, to help out people who need help and qualify, just as the government helps out thousands of businesses and a hundred other countries, yet you don't ***** about that despite it costing hundreds of billions of dollars every year.

A good general rule of thumb is not to tell another person how far they should walk until you yourself have tried walking in their shoes. Then be thankful that you could work all your life and have never needed to ask for hep . . . . yet.
