You'd have to go back more than two decades to find a Republican, George H.W. Bush, who carried the state in a presidential election.

CA is a beautiful state with many nice aspect, but it's lost so much in recent years, it's hard to still love.

First, not sure how anyone other than the ultra rich live in places like San Diego, LA or SF! Taxes, home prices, cost of living and cost of food are insanely high. You would need to make $125K just to make ends meat!

Second, the job market is only getting worse. Many businesses are leaving CA claiming it's just to hard to do business there and no businesses are coming to replace them. In IL with the sham corporate tax increase (I say sham because when any company complaint like most recently Sears, Gov Douche Bag gave a backdoor Zeroing of their tax bull), many states like TX, OH and UT were common states considered for relocation, but CA was never mentioned. I have buddies that used to work in IT in CA that are getting relocated all over the country in place like IW. Silcone Valley will soon be renamed Death Valley! No small business owner in their right mind would open a business in CA and no large business would relocate there.

Third, it's lost its appeal to tourist also. The beaches are beautiful, but so are the East Coast beaches. CA tries to nickel and dime tourist so much that they pick other destination. CA tourism has taken such a recently for a variety of factors, regardless of the fact that it should be a travels main target.

Fourth, CA ranks near the bottom in education. English is a 2nd language, most pampered teachers Unions in the country that play the most INSANE pensions and healthcare benefits, free education to illegals and other liberalism in the class room has led to the lowest teacher per pupil ratio in the country, worst funded EDUCATION in the country and no programs and extremely under-funded schools!

Fifth, CA hospitals are going broke and CA healthcare costs are going through the roof. The free emergency care to illegals is bankrupting hospitals and requiring hospitals to push the bills onto the insured and US citizens. Healthcare costs are higher in CA then just about every other state.

Sixth, CA income taxes are insane. CA income taxes range from 1%-10.1%! You get closer to that 10.1% very quickly. That number is insane. Believe it or not, because millionaires are leaving the state because of this.

Seventh, it's a haven for illegals. Free education and healthcare, soon to be in state tuition, grants and loans to illegals, sanctuary cities in nearly ever city in CA, no questions asked welfare, food stamps and section 8, no need or requirement to learn English, the no deportation policy (even for violent offenders) and the insane protections the CA authorities have for illegals, such as no arrests DUI offenders, the catch and release of so called minor offenders so that ICE won't have time to get there and deport them. Illegals have bankrupted the schools, hospitals and welfare system. Believe it or not, but commit a higher percent of crime than US citizens. They have hurt the state 100 fold more than they have helped it!

When more an more Californians speak Spanish Only then English Only, have no loyalty and affection with the US (booing during the National Anthem is a good indication of that and when the majority of Latin American Californians openly see no problem with it, then that's a problem), when the welfare system gets people so depend, yet bitter towards the government (that leads only irrational discontent, meaning they hate the government, but depend on the government and demand more government), when a large voting bloc blames ****** for the strife and stagnant economy in CA (note: It will be blame ****** not Blame the GOP!), when a race baiting politicians protray America as hostile to the US and when a MAJORITY of the State population believe CA was STOLEN from Mexico and Latin America, the One party Democratic System in CA will look towards a Latino Party. What better place to find an established Latino Party then from Mexico. PAN will show the Dimocrats as the party of White and it will work (ask how the slander works for CA Democrats against).
