Okay, I'm not a Democrat. But I agree with more Democratic policies than Republican policies, though have a problem with both parties in general. It seems to me these boards are divided on those who support Republicans/Trump and those on the Dem side who hate Trump.
Democrats/Liberals only talk about hating Trump and opposing everything he does.
Rather than litigate that, I ask you, who is it from the Democratic party that you feel could/would do a better job in 2028 then either a JD Vance or Marco Rubio ?
Here are the top two Dem candidates...
Gavin Newsome - He who has destroyed California, is trying to pass a law so people won't expose the billions in fraud going on in the state,
lost billions of dollars of taxpayer money on the homeless and 126 billion of taxpayer money on a high speed train --Is THAT who you want to see run the country ?
Kamala Harris ---was the "border czar", let in 15 million unvetted illegal aliens, during campaign could not answer a single tough question without a word salad coming out...basically has done nothing in politics. She campaigned in 2019 to support taxpayer-funded trans surgeries for inmates.
As an atty she kept evidence out of cases that would have freed innocent people from serving time to boost her prosecution record. Look up James Trulove and Kevin Cooper.
Is THAT who you want to run our country ?
Those are your options, pick one and tell me why other than "they are not Trump"....
The alternative is Proportional Representation.
An electoral system that gives people a proper vote, depending on the cut off for parties, you could have anywhere from 6 viable political parties to maybe 10 viable coalitions (based on Germany and Denmark for the most part).
People would have proper oversight. They wouldn't have to choose right and left only, they could choose different variants of right and left. If you want to vote right, and the main right party has policies you don't like, instead of having to vote someone you don't like, you can vote for a different right party with different policies.
This would lead to better politicians, politicians focused on what the people want, rather than on money to buy elections.
