The dollar store sells cheap reading glasses for, let's see, about a buck.
I have reading glasses. Actually the print has to be almost invisible for me to put glasses on. My vision is excellent.
 
Kidding aside cataract eye problems can sneak up on senior citizens. Years ago a mostly fair skinned blue eyed person could gradually go blind due to cataracts but today a relatively simple operation will restore vision. The other age related eye problem , macular degeneration, is a different issue. I've had both and it's no fun.

I had my lenses replaced around 15 years ago. And the surgery is excellent.
 
Maybe it's off topic or not but my eye doctor diagnosed me with age related macular degeneration and after more than a year of treatment that involved expensive eyeball injections I still came down with blurred vision in my eye.
 
Most people won't. But it's there so the company's lawyers can fight any lawsuit over anything that's on the label that the plaintiff didn't read and so did something stupid.
True, it's all CYA with a few instructions.
