This is for the people that seem to think it's their mission to constantly shine a light on the ignorance of religious people. What's your motivation to try to undermine the simple and comforting beliefs of some theist?
My motivation is in an effort to make the better approach to world peace.
How hurtful is religion to society in your view?
First of all, there is a problem in the traditional definition of religion that makes it a reiteration of theism, therefore it reinforces theism; but there are some dictionaries recognizing the error, but most people are unaware of the correction and its impact on theism, atheism, and humanism.
From my perspective, theist religions, are not harmful, because community is good. Theist religions are ultimately erroneous, because they lack a respect for the search for a more reliable social order. We are still in search of the reliable system of social order - theists religions are ultimately flawed, but are necessary for some resemblance of social order. The three-part separation theory of government is a good effort, but its deployment is flawed for the purpose of tremendous diversity and sophistication that society has evolved to - it needs to be corrected.
What are you trying to achieve?
That is a reiteration of the motivation question. I am trying to achieve the better approach to world peace
Why not just leave them be?
I do, because I am working on the delivery of the "atheists' replacement of the bible" argument. We need a reliable knowledge classification system and a correction for the erroneous deployment of the three-part separation theory of government.
