Zhukov - First, your right about all those nations having Al-Queda cells (including Pakistan yes, but if you are implying that they are SUPPORTING terror then you are convienently ignoring the slew of news reports of fighting between those cells and a amed coallition of Pakistanian and US troops. THEY ARE ON OUR SIDE STOP LYING! [which, by the way, I can see why the quote you post from Lenin is your mantra])
Secondly, by pointing out all these countries with known terror cells you are proving my point that Bush failed to keep his promise about 'attacking terrorist cells where ever they may lie'. A point I made in my original post I believe.
Third, I do not see where Al-Queda or other Anti-American groups are comming into Iraq as a fighting horde. In fact, in case you missed it, there was a story about Arab fighters, comming into Iraq from the surrounding countries, being captured by thier Iraqi hosts and given up to the incomming US military occupants. I'm sure they are all lining up to fight Americans in Iraq now.
And yes, point taken, I will do better at separating my posts.
Sir Evil - I really do not care what designate you lable me with. With an avitar so reflective of it's owner, such as yours, it calls me to remind you about people in glass houses.
And my 'inside source' for my claim that Iraqi internal documents state clearly that there are no WMD and that they have been duping him for cash? CNBC. It was on back in Oct. of '03 I believe. I refuse to pay for your transcript but you can request one if you like.
The one thing you have said that I wholeheartedly agree with you on is that Dems will stick it to ya as well. However, the Dems do so because they are, overall, stupid and slow. Republicans do so, because they are just intelligent enough to believe they can fool everyone all of the time and are greedy, selfish and borderline evil, on the whole. But aside from the specific negative aspects of each party, this two party system is the folly of the American system. It binds political thinking into a two dimensional trap. By having 2 main parties, you take every issue you can think of and polarize it into two equal and opposite extremes and a sliding scale in between connecting the two sides. Instead of 3 dimentional thinking, applied forecasting, and melding of peices of differeing ideals that would enable us to 'pick and choose' the best answers for a more perfect solution, we are chained by the eniquities of the status quo so that the shared powerbase of the Left and the Right can not be torn asunder. Get my drift, hommie?
preemptingme03 - I don't really know where you were going with that post. You quote me on one thing and talk about something else. I did hear about his son-in-law's defection and his claims but I never heard we found anything. I know that most people thought he may have had or was trying to re-build his WMD program but you can't rightly say that UNSCOM thought this way when Hans May came out and publicly denounced finding anything like that at all. And don't lower yourself to bring out the charicter assasination's of Hans May...I've heard them all and studied further and...it's as pathetic of an attempt as it has been with the charicter assasinations upon Richard Clarke.
Secondly, as it referred to the part of my post that you quoted, I hope you are not saying that the last 9 years of history will negate the hundreds of years of history that came before it. Find some history sites and look into this territory of Babylon (I know I misspelled that) and you will see what I mean. Laurence of Arabia couldn't even give these people a peaceful governing body!
Moreover for those that I read on the GOP side of things. I have always comforted myself with the thought that the common man that backs the GOP, does so only because they really believe that these are really men of the people, that have common values and goals that the rest of us share because they believe what thier commercials say about them and can't really discearn what thier true intentions are by thier actions. But when I see the duplicity and hypocracy of the GOP leadership being matched, step by step, by thier commoner followers...it makes me think twice about the presumed innocence of the entire flock. Before you rebutt this posting ask yourself if what you are saying contains any illogical falisies or emotionally laden rhetoric. Those are often the ear marks of a dishonest, destructive and negative campaign.
