Then came the fateful debate where Joe proved that he was old, that he was senile, and that he, Joe was a blithering idiot. But also, before that debate, VP Harris's popularity was way below Joe's. She was loseresque, because she never talked coherently, but in word salad or staged with actors. But then Nancy Pelosi got involved and realized that Joe was dragging down all the down ballot candidates so blackmailed Joe into removing himself from the campaign, even though all the Democrats had voted for him, and not Harris, but Joe gave up the ship and suddenly word salad Harris became new again. Then she started talking again, and now everyone with a brains sees she is even worse, than the old, senile, blithering idiot Joe. Talk about buyers remorse. This is what happens in a banana republic.

It is disappointing when Americans lack basic knowledge of their history, but beyond disappointing when they can't even remember a few months ago. Kamala was so bad that none other than the New York fucking Times(!) was advising Biden to get rid of Harris somehow, because she was a drag on his re-election campaign.

Then she is anointed the Candidate and she goes from pariah to messiah.

No, there are more smart people than stupid people but pretty much all of them that know anything are right of center because it is smart to be there. And those left of center control almost all the message now, i.e. government, media, social media, search engines, education, entertainment, scientific institutions, big business, even many religious organizations so that many smart people among them are kept ignorant because they rarely ever are told the truth.

And if the GOP does not prevail next month that will get much worse. Perhaps to the point that the smart people will never ever have any power again.
