Debunking the Lie-The Harris Plan for America

She will have no serious competition in the primary. The Democrats who run this one-party mobbed up state will make sure of that.
Sort of the way the Dems got rid of Biden’s competition in the 2020 campaign. There were quite a few who were well ahead of him in the primary vote count, and yet…..on Monday evening right before Super Tuesday, they all dropped out.

Harris being a failure had nothing to do with racism. Her "success" such as it was had everything to do with racism. She was handed things through either sexual favors or racism that no other California politician was granted. I lived in California throughout her state and local political career and witnessed it.

It's always funny when a Dem who never got a hard question from their local media finds out that
there are real expectations on the national stage.

And the least of them is the ability to not turn into a stuttering mess when asked a tough question.

It is funny how Harris was portrayed by some in America. I don’t think the people who made up the word salad narrative listened to her.
That's how the phrase came about, after listening to her it became 'WTF did she say'?

That's a lie.

It is funny how Harris was portrayed by some in America. I don’t think the people who made up the word salad narrative listened to her. I believe they listened to Trump's description of her and viewed the edited videos during his rallies and accepted that as truth. No matter what excuse has been used, it first became apparent what the issue was with Harris when Republicans went after her laugh. Then, as with Obama, her qualifications were questioned. She became a DEI candidate even though she had a career as DA, was twice elected to be the Attorney General in charge of the second largest Department of Justice in the country, and was elected to the U.S. Senate before she was picked to be Vice President. Her qualifications were questioned even though her opponent was an inheritance baby with less public policy and governing experience, even though he had served as president. Additionally, his presidency encompassed two impeachments and a significant policy shortfall during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the United States possessing one of the most advanced healthcare systems globally, it experienced higher COVID-19-related deaths and infections than any other country. Even the Republican VP candidate, J.D. Vance, tried questioning her qualifications, even though his public policy experience consisted of writing a book and a little more than a year in the Senate. Compare these qualifications for yourself, then ask, who was really the most qualified? Then we have slimy references to her past and the signs at the RNC saying Joe and the ho must go. Despite the sexism that happened to Hillary Clinton in 2016, she was not called a ho. The racism in the Trump campaign was apparent right there, but in a country that chooses to deny it has a problem, we see every other excuse made for what happened rather than the obvious.

The claim was that Harris had no plan and that Harris could not connect with the middle and working class. Harris lost by 1.6 percent. She got nearly 75 million votes. That is one of the highest vote totals in the history of American presidential elections. I believe it was the third highest ever. Therefore, she connected with somebody. We continue seeing the narrative of how she didn’t connect with the working class. When somebody makes that statement, I wonder about the “working class” they are talking about. Harris received majorities of the votes from African Americans/Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Asians. Middle- and working-class people exist in each of these populations. These populations also live in swing states. I strongly believe it is time for us to stop denying the reality of these Trump victories. To be blunt, the only working-class Harris didn’t appear to connect with was the white working class.

In talking to people about the Harris campaign, they tell me how she didn’t really say anything. How all she did was giggle and say she came from a middle-class family. I did not see any giggling when she dismantled Trump in their debate. She made Trump cry about how unfair it was that Biden dropped out after telling everybody how Joe Biden needed to be removed. I didn’t see any giggling when she was calling Trump out for more debates, and he chose to run away because he knew that he was up against a stronger candidate. They told me she didn’t present a plan. That she was condescending. All that sounds like excuses made by people who just don’t want to say that they could not vote for a black woman. Why do I say this? Let's focus on Harris's actual statements and the plan she presented—one that America ignored but now wishes it hadn't. It is titled: “A New Way Forward.”

Let's start with the economic plan. If you can't read it, don't comment.

Experts Find That Vice President Harris Is More Fiscally Responsible Than Donald Trump:

A survey of 40 nearly top economists by the Financial Times and University of Chicago
found that 70 percent agree that Vice President Harris would be better on the deficit than Trump, while only 11 percent believe that Trump would be better on the deficit than Harris.8

A Yale economist using estimates from the Budget Lab at Yale and the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, emphasize Harris’s plan is more fiscally responsible. They note: “Any fair fiscal comparison shows this election is not a close call. If the deficit is your top issue, Harris is the clear choice.”9

This sentiment was echoed by the Penn Wharton Budget Model and the Tax Foundation. The Penn Wharton Model found that Trump’s tax and spending proposals would increase primary deficits by $5.8 trillion over the next 10 years,10 while the Tax Foundation noted that Trump’s plan to remove revenue from Social Security “is unsound and fiscally irresponsible.”11

The Wall Street Journal agrees: “Vice President Harris, the Democratic nominee and GOP rival Donald Trump aren’t the same on fiscal policy. She has outlined or endorsed enough fiscal measures—tax increases or spending cuts— to plausibly pay for much of her agenda. He has not.”

CHAPTER 1
Cut Taxes for Working People

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz believe that working families should have the economic stability and security they need to not just get by but to get ahead. They know that millions of families are strained by higher costs and that tax relief will help middle-class Americans take care of themselves and their families.

What Vice President Harris and Governor Walz Will Do

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz will cut taxes for 100 million Americans. And, unlike Donald Trump, whose Project 2025 agenda would raise taxes on the middle class, Vice President Harris and Governor Walz will make sure no one earning less than $400,000 a year will pay more in taxes.

Restoring the Expanded Child Tax Credit to Up to $3,600 to Help More Than 100 Million Americans
The expansion of the Child Tax Credit—made possible by Vice President Harris’s tie-breaking vote—was one of the largest tax cuts ever passed for the middle-class. It gave middle-class families the help they needed to pay their bills— with 70 percent of parents reporting that the monthly relief made them less stressed about household expenditures. For millions of middle-class working families, the expanded Child Tax Credit helped them pay their mortgage or rent, buy food, and purchase basics for their kids, like books, diapers, clothes, and toys. While the extension of this vital tax relief for working families was blocked by Republican opposition in Congress, Vice President Harris and Governor Walz have proposed to restore the expanded Child Tax Credit and to make it the permanent law of the land. It will provide a tax credit of up to $3,600 per child for the middle class and the most hard-pressed working families with children.

The temporary middle-class tax relief in 2021 cut taxes for more than 40 million working families with over 60 million children. The benefits of the expanded Child Tax Credit were widespread. It provided tax relief to the families of more than 9 million children in rural areas15 and 5 million children in veteran and active-duty families.16 The Child Tax Credit payments were delivered reliably with the first-ever monthly payment, delivered on the 15th of each month, with 90 percent of recipients using direct deposit.

Economists found that this investment cut child poverty to a record low. This support helped cut Black child poverty by over 50 percent and Hispanic child poverty by 43 percent, and it led to dramatic drops in Native American, white, and Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander child poverty rates.17 In addition, Vice President Harris’s monthly tax relief model cut food insecurity by more than 20 percent among families with children.

A New $6,000 Tax Cut to Help Families Pay for the High Costs of a Child’s First Year of Life
Vice President Harris’s plan includes a historic expansion of the Child Tax Credit: providing $6,000 in tax relief for middle-income and low-income families for the first year of their child’s life. This is often when a family’s expenses are highest—with formula, diapers, car seats and other costs— while at the same time too many parents are forced to forgo income as they take time off from their job without any paid leave. Indeed, most families’ incomes significantly decline during their child’s first year of life.19 A substantial body of research has found that the first year is the most important period of development for children and has long-lasting effects on future “learning, behavior, and health.”

The Vice President’s plan to cut taxes for middle-class families and lower-income families with this expansion of the Child Tax Credit is backed by significant economic evidence. Researchers have found that expanding the Child Tax Credit returns as much as $15 to society for every $1 investment through improvements in children’s health, education, and future earnings.

This is all about the middle and working class. Trump had no such plan, yet 57 percent of white voters, mostly middle and working class ignored this plan, claimed to not be able to understand what she was saying, and voted for this:

Trump is a convicted felon, so don't pretend you GAF about the law. So read the stuff in the link or get out of this thread..
Trump being a convicted felon did not preclude him from being President.

Democrats thought identity politics would carry her.

Those days are over. America has has enough.
