I feel it is time to sit back and watch the carnage.

While I am new to this forum I have been a regular on some others. I feel like the time for talking is over. My goal up to this point has been to understand and to hopefully influence. That doesn't seem necessary anymore. I may be wrong but at this point, it feels like Trump is done. Here we are with another government shutdown. The abrupt pullout of Syria. The pullout of our Iranian nuclear agreement. Making money off the presidency. Staff defections left and right. Trump supporting a Saudi Prince despite the concerns of the FBI. A market that is circling the drain. The crowd size and other lies. The constant tweeting. An ongoing trade war with China. An ongoing Steel/Aluminium trade war with the world. Court cases where the President of the United States of Amerca 'vs' former sex partner pornstars. Family separations at the border. All of our closest allies hate us. The only person that likes us is Putin because everything we do seems to benefit him. Weekly flights to Trump resorts for golf. Everyone Trump has ever dealt with seems to be turning on him. Mueller keeps sending Trump associates to prison. Even Fox news has started to say negative things about Trump.

I believe enough people are seeing this sinking GOP ship and realizing that Trump is not what they wanted. He has damaged himself enough to ensure he is a 1-term president. (if he makes it) The supporters on these sites are little more than cheerleaders. Cheerleaders at Trump U. Their team loses every game but they ignore their star's awful play and keep on cheering. He is great. he is good, he's just a little misunderstood. While they do their best to support their guy, everyone watching the game knows the score. I'm not going to keep arguing with the losing team. I will instead step back and watch the game unfold. The cheerleaders don't matter at this point. No one believes them and frankly, many of them don't believe themselves. They just don't want to admit they lost. No matter what these people say the outcome will be the same. A new president in 2020.

And what's with the gay porn 'stache?

It actually is a porn stache from the '70s. I was searching for an image to go with the name Bad Dad and this came up. There is a caption under the image that says "He is a terrible father but an excellent lover". So, not a gay porn stache but definitely a porn stache.

Great! Another Trump hater!

I'm afraid so. I was never a supporter and he has done nothing to win my support. At this point, I feel like the right thing to do is stop the fighting and wait for the pieces to fall so we can put it all back together.

Welcome BD. You've got right idea in not attempting to influence anybody. I myself gave that up many years ago, but I do like reading how others feel and sharing how I see things. As for Trump, there are things I agree with and others I don't. Absolutely not a fan of his personality in a way I never felt about any other president.

Sit down and shut up (watch) is a good policy for the left to persue. Sadly they are too childish for such actions

Trump is the hero of the world
He exposed the high treason corruption of the deep state and may have saved world war 111

He will bring a wisdom test for voting so that crooks cannot brainwash as easy
