That's exactly what's happening here!!

I have an idea. Why don't you call up your local police department and tell them you want to report a crime. And when they ask you what you want to report, show them or tell them about the news article and let them know that there are people whose free speech you want curtailed and others you want executed.

Let us know what they say.

Then why wasn't he arrested? They could have red flagged him and taken away all of the guns in the house IF they thought that he was a threat.

Calling someone a "KILLER" is far more incite-full than calling him a "NAZI".

Bill O'Reilly repeatedly referred to Dr. George Tiller, a late-term abortion provider in Kansas, as "Tiller the Baby Killer" on his Fox News show,

Calling somebody a "killer" repeatedly on national TV to a conservative audience,

That Tiller would be murdered by being called a "killer" is 1,000 times as likely as when calling somebody a "NAZI".

Again assuming O'Reilly did that, I need the context in which it was said to assess whether he stepped over the line. I have never EVER heard O'Reilly advocate violence against any citizen.

Yes but I still think that there should be exceptions. After all it's legal to shoot somebody if you feel like they're a threat to you physically and it falls underneath the second amendment and it's considered self-defense, but we can't just shoot somebody we don't like. That's murder.

And this is an example of what I was attempting to explain to you about making a civil claim for defamation per se.

Falsely accusing someone of a criminal act or being a criminal is considered defamation per se so you don't have to prove how their false statement harmed you since the damages are presumed.

Falsely calling someone a terrorist just because it makes you feel good is accusing them of criminal behavior or being a criminal.

I was once told this by law enforcement.

If someone calls you and threatens to punch you, that is not an actionable threat as they can not punch you over the phone.

If someone continues to do so, that is harassment and actionable.

If you are their front porch and threaten them, that is an actionable threat.

In lethal self defense they refer to that as ability, opportunity and jeopardy. All three elements must be present to use deadly force.
