“I don’t see a blue wave”

DEM + phony R will do anything and they already have examples:

1. 08' meltdown was preventable. Congress set rules then ALLOWED it to happen as they watched from afar. 15 million suddenly lost jobs, millions homeless, life savings vanished.

2. 16' - 19' Russian BS killing Trump progress.

3. Launch and spread virus killing 100s' thousands elderly in secret and many younger using suspect respirators? This to kill Trump economy and help #4.

4. Stolen 2020 with 10million bogus votes.

5. Millions more criminals robbing, killing, raping Americans added in the 20 million border swarm they caused.

**how could they do worse?

It has no impact on the deficit

The deficit is money we spent over what rake in.

It’s what causes the debt, counties buying our debt has no effect on the deficit

Counties investing in our countries via businesses does…because they pay taxes adding to our income

One quibble.... And I don't disagree with you.
The purchase of our debt, to me is similar to a drug habit. Kicking the can down the road and not facing the consequences of our reckless spending habits encourages us to do more of the same. So ultimately the debt grows because we have an enabler that saves us from the results of our own irresponsibility making it possible for us to put off the needed changes. With those changes come pain.... And nobody likes pain but at this point pain is the only way back.... The necessary collateral damage of the road to healing.

My post's points are backed up by credible links, not just typing opinions.
Your links are all discussing various grants that Republicans hope to take back. It’s really a side issue, and it’s still wishful thinking.

How are you so disconnected from reality on this....?

Hell, democrats today aren't even popular with their own voters.....

This last one is your own people calling you a dumbass...
I get all that. Democrats are mad at themselves for losing to Trump twice. They aren’t happy about it. But they also haven’t flipped to supporting Trump.

The independents give the opposite side a try every few years. that isn’t changing.

Midterms are presidential referendums. Nothing else. I can’t predict the future but I do know it would be crazy for the GOP not to get blown out next year. It’s almost certain.

I dunno..... I haven't seen any major changes of direction on The dem side. It could be that it's irrelevant but I don't think so. Recently they have loaded up the social finger wagging gun to lethal concentration. It's going to take several election cycles for that to wear off and they also need to shut up for a while and give people time to cool off. Somebody finally put a gag on that little loud mouth hussy from Texas she was doing tremendous damage.

I get all that.
Do you though? It doesn’t seem like it.

No one said that..You don’t have to support him to work with him to get some things you want…But, don’t work with him, and get nothing. I’m fine either way….

But, that’s not what you tried to say….why change it now?

We are in uncharted territory these days. The electorate is tired of being suckered…If you dems don’t learn that, conventional politics is out the window…

I don't think anyone ever truly flips to tell you the truth. I know people change parties but I don't think they really change their ideas.

Again you make zero insightful points. The midterms have flipped every time for 30+ years. You offer no points as to why that would change in the administration of the least popular president of all time.

No they haven’t, in fact during trumps first term in gain seats in the senate

The Democrats gained a net total of 41 seats from the total number of seats they had won in the 2016 elections. The 41-seat gain was the Democrats' largest gain of House seats since the post-Watergate 1974 elections, when they picked up 49 seats.

In addition they faced a historically awful map in the senate and lost one seat…from your link.

Democrats faced an extremely unfavorable map, defending 26 seats, of which 10 were in states won by Donald Trumpin the 2016 presidential election, in five states by more than 10%. Republicans, meanwhile, only had to defend nine seats, of which only one was in a state won by Hillary Clinton in 2016.

So they lost seats in the senate?

Remind me, which president ever gained seats in the senate before Trump?

No economic indicators point to a roaring economy next year.

Rump is going to run out of statisticians to fire before then anyway.

He has already tried to substitute figures from the ultra right wing Heritage Foundation for facts.
Actually Tim...ALL of the economic indicators point to a roaring economy next year! I know you desperately want Trump's policies to fail but at some point you're going to have to admit that when it comes to Economics...Trump knows what works and what doesn't. Sorry, but he does!

Well-

Obama did in 2008.

Bush did in 2002.

FDR gained seats in the Senate in 1932, 1934, and 1936, to the point where by 1936, there were only 17 Republicans left in the Senate and 84 Republicans left in the House, and the actual "Opposition" was Conservative Southern Democrats who dragged their heals on any progress.

I have no idea what you are trying to communicate. I was very clear in my post.
