it solves it by it's closing the floodgates of extra and new immigrants.And so you have to do an analysis:
The costs of placing troops along the border (don't rule out the human factor of doing this) vs. the "upside" of keeping out folks who are going to be roofers, laborers, beauticians, etc...
Meanwhile, many who are here illegally have overstayed their visa and came in via car, plane, etc... How does having a base on the border solve that?
airports, car, train border and cruiseliner crossings can and should be checked too.
