I can see why you Trump supporters might like him.

I'm sure you bleev it, bro. :itsok:
Any perceptive adult who read your childish screed “bleevs” it, bumbleweed. Stop whining for my attention. You’re just not intelligent enough to be interesting.

"If he said it, he didn't mean it. If he meant it, you didn't understand it." You're taking the orange god completely out of context."
Perfect. That way, the words coming out of his mouth have no real meaning since they are completely open to interpretation. All his supporters really need to remember is..........."I am your retribution." The rest is bigoted word salad.

I don't like him....never did. In fact I can't stand him. That however does not cloud my judgement.
It doesn't cloud mine either. Him being a despicable human being is beside the point. The point is he's a terrible choice to lead the country. Not only because he's a dishonest bigot with authoritarian leanings, his policies are based on fantasy, ignorance, and bigotry.

That's not how it played out the first time around. The economy responded to him in ways that the average person still remembers. A remarkably high number of voters who would normally lean left I remembering the days when they could go to the grocery store and actually go home with a bag that they could afford. Lefty's ignorance on this subject will be his undoing.

I would argue their memory is faulty. trump inherited an economy growing at trend GDP growth and juiced it with a tax cut and a deregulatory regime that was harmful to the environment to the public's health. Then he applied his catch all solution to all things economic, tariffs, which were a disaster. Especially for farmers who had to be bailed out to the tune of billions of dollars. A "solution" he plans to double down on if there is a next time around, courting disaster once again.

trump and RWM have been telling so many lies about the economy under Biden people have started to believe them.

Majority of Americans wrongly believe US is in recession – and most blame Biden

Nearly three in five Americans wrongly believe the US is in an economic recession, and the majority blame the Biden administration, according to a Harris poll conducted exclusively for the Guardian. The survey found persistent pessimism about the economy as election day draws closer.

The poll highlighted many misconceptions people have about the economy, including:

  • 55% believe the economy is shrinking, and 56% think the US is experiencing a recession, though the broadest measure of the economy, gross domestic product (GDP), has been growing.
  • 49% believe the S&P 500 stock market index is down for the year, though the index went up about 24% in 2023 and is up more than 12% this year.
  • 49% believe that unemployment is at a 50-year high, though the unemployment rate has been under 4%, a near 50-year low.
