RE: I believe in free will
SUBTOPIC: Does Humanity Know the Thought Processes of a Deity?
⁜ MarathonMike, et al,
The question (of Free Will) implies that in some manner, there may be conditions in which a superior entity confers or denies this freedom. Alternatively - Free Will may be an Illusion.
These concepts (Free Will and First Cause) unfold a paradoxical implication and erode the belief in the Three Great God Powers (TGGP):
AND, this impacts how we define "Truth." Is truth an outcome of the facts as a basis? - or - Is truth an outcome of reality? Are there different kinds of truth?
The Principle of Sufficient Reason (PSR) takes into consideration that anything and everything has a reason, cause, or explanation. Anything and everything that occurs must have the quality of being possible to understand by humanity. Can humanity understand a deity?
It is not universally understood how quantum mechanics affects scientific reason any more than the reasoning of a deity can be thoroughly understood. in most conditional discussions, the question of why a Deity (assuming the supernatural is real) does what it does is beyond human understanding.
Most Respectfully,

◈ Omnipotence: God is all-powerful.
◈ Omniscience: God is all-knowing.
◈ Omnipresence: God is everywhere all the time.

(COMMENT)One of my personal guiding philosophies is "TRUTH IS SIMPLE". If an explanation explodes into complication and multi-conditions, I'm out. I have believed since a teen-ager that the only logical explanation for God's role with humanity is that of a benevolent creator and observer of what he/she/it has created.
