He then spotted a Capitol Police officer with his back turned near a raised platform, and hit the officer in a “football style tackle,” according to the documents. Strzok sued the government because he was laid off from his job inappropriately. He was harmed by the actions of the administration and reached a settlement.
To have a lawsuit, you have to have a claim.
The rioters have no claim against the January 6th committee.

At this point I believe you are right. I cannot hold the January 6th committee directly responsible for the persecution of the Jan 6 protesters. It does show a weakness in our society that they were allowed to break the law and lie about that date. Biden's pardon of them and their acceptance of it proves their guilt of corruption. You won a little battle but you stand for the side of ignorance and dishonesty. Congratulations
