Suppose you are correct on that. ALL the DOJ can do is investigate. They cannot convict anyone. That takes a judge and jury, and Trump is not in charge of those.
No Democrat should fear an investigation, if they are innocent, correct?
Or if there is a downside of being investigated by the DOJ, tell me?

Some of them probably did deserve to go to prison but as Trump already said last night, those individuals have done their time. Murders were being released onto the streets while they were still left behind bars. This is extremely great news!!

Even if he doesn't control judges and juries, being maliciously prosecuted is already bad enough.
Trump has some judges out there that are pretty off their rockers, though. He's appointed some back hombres to the bench.

As much as I hate to admit it you have a point. If somebody is breaking into your home you have the right to shoot at them, but if they are unarmed you shouldn't shoot to kill though, just to make them leave.

Of course I do. Biden maintained a separation from the DoJ. Even Garland appointed special prosecutors when the cases benefited from it.
On the other hand, Trump was fond of telling the DoJ what to do and what not to do.
