Before you try to prosecute someone, you must give them immunity from prosecution so you can investigate what you need to find out in order to prosecute them, once you give them immunity from prosecution that is, preferably before you try to prosecute you give them immunity so you can't prosecute them! This will lead to more successful prosecutions of persons you really don't want to prosecute.

Alas, reality again gut kicks your imagination. As neither Flynn nor Papodopoulos were offered 'immunity'. They took pleas, admitting to very serious crimes in court.

There's simply no debate that there are serious crimes in the Trump team. And that those crimes relate immediately to Russia.
