Every time some nation's leadership tosses out amercian corporate capitalists the US power structure ramps up the demagoguery machinery. As a conservative I’m content to let the Venezuelans work out Venezuela. Chavez told big american oil to scoot, they would not be allowed to exploit Venezuela’s resources and dance out with the profits. One of the cable channels had a professor from Occidental College in California on the other day...Occidental is the one Obama went to, so you can guess how fucked up it is...and she said it wasn't Socialism that is causing Venezuela such problems...it is the change in policies away from Socialism that is doing the damage.

Ummmm....when you have food and toilet paper shortages, no demagoguery is needed.

And his stupidity resulted in ever shrinking output during a period of record high (triple digit!!) oil prices.

Has anyone seen any good recipes yet? Do they feed them grain for a couple of weeks before slaughtering? Probably not if there is a food shortage. Like all meat eating carnivores, they probably have a wild taste and need a lot of spices and sauces to be delicious.
