I prioritize the proper role of government. Something that you would do well to learn, even if you are only a generation apart from being fresh off the boat.
And I sure as shit do not adhere to the view that a role of the federal government is to define anyone's ''need.''
Your question is only germane to invoking some illusion of legitimacy and justification to/for your big government worldview. And I'm not interested in helping you to justify that view by playing along with it. I'm not interested in subsidizing anything. Therefore your question soliciting dialogue in defense of federal subsidies to anyone, regardless of their preferred designated status is moot from this traditional American's perspective. I am not a big government statist. Never will be.

What I can’t figure out is why Crepticus thinks the low-income Americans who qualify for housing subsidies are all white, and why all the illegal alien scofflaws are brown.
But….that’s my answer as to why he prioritizes the illegals over the needy Americans. He wants help to go according to skin color, and browns come first.

I think I was rather clear for anyone to read in the fact that I do not consent to any federal subsidies or redistribution regardles of yours or anyone elses preferred designated victim status groups so-called ''needs,'' and I certainly do not condone the noton that you and others seem to have that the federal government is of the role to define anyone's ''needs.''
