I grew up in deep red America. Their love of Bud Light and Busch Light runs deep.By who? Who decided certain foods are liberal or conservative and how did they arrive at this conclusion?
Assumption. You don't know that mostly conservatives drank Bud Light, you only know it was mostly conservatives who boycotted it over the Mulvaney nonsense.
Liberals are ridiculed for many things and lattes are the least of them. It's not about lattes or Maxwell House, Bud Light or craft beers, Big Macs or duck a l'orange at the quaint bistro in the cul-de-sac downtown. It's about the fact that they think drinking what is essentially coffee milk marks them as sophisticated and better than others.
Why do people like you spout shit like this when you know it goes both ways? I can say the same thing so it's irrelevant.
As you may have guessed, I'm conservative. I've eaten processed foods my whole life as well as dined in fancy restaurants. I've had craft beers as well as Yuengling six packs out of the cooler at 7 eleven. As far as individual character goes, you know what I found to be different between the people who mostly eat or drink one or the other? Absolutely nothing.
You might be absolutely right in your opinions about foods vis-a-vis political views but ultimately it means precisely squat. Except that people like you think it actually makes you better or smarter somehow. And yet, all that processed food from chain restaurants throughout my life never impaired my ability to spot elitist bullshit when I see it.
So too does their love of red meat and cheeseburgers with fries.
I’m just noticing trends, and you can deny it all you want but that’s been my experience over decades.
It has nothing to do with individual character. I’m not judging someone’s worth here. It’s just a matter of priorities.
