When we are young..........we all have ideas of what our life will be like when we get older.

Has your life gone the way you wanted it to?

Did things turn out better for you?
Did things turn out worse for you?
Did your life derail in an unexpected way?

What did you think your life would be like when you got past 50, compared to what really happened?

Two feet down and a heartbeat. :)

Is that GOOD or BAD?

What did you think your life would be like NOW, opposed to what you thought it would be like when you were little?

My friends are a bit of sticks in the mud, at this date. I have hopes that will loosen up as we retire.

Other than that, pretty good. Oh, disappointed with hair loss. 5, ten more years, I might have to give up adn shave it.

I am exceedingly blessed. exceedingly, and very grateful to God for it.

We're not wealthy by any stretch, but I wouldn't trade my life for all the money in the world.

I have a fantastic husband--the best ever really. Two amazing kids, one get married this summer. I have a job that has been a joy and enriched my life immensely.

Great question! I love this type of content. Life has been good to me! I'm set up for retirement .. I'm in a role as a major influencer in a consultative position ... my house is almost paid off .. and I'm establishing my legacy with family and the younger generations.

Immaturity has vanished and more mature, measured approaches have guided my path .. Can't wait to be in my mid-50s.

.

Pretty close. I thought I'd be married and have a career or a business. I had a career I enjoyed until I decided to take over my husband's business, while he went on to something else.

Since I married a man significantly older, I am now a widow. That's the only surprise, thus far.

I own my home and have enough assets to feel comfortable.

1) Yes, to a point. I ended up where I intended to be for my current age but took some damage along the way to get to where I am @ in life currently.

2) Considering the situation I faced in my pre-teen years I would say yes for sure.

3) I made it to my objective(safe zone) well ahead of schedule but had not realized way back then the extent that OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE & the human condition(human nature) would hamper my ambitions/objectives.

4) Constant derailments but generally of minimal to lite consequence save for one big derailment & of course the heartbreakers that we all go through.

5) Honestly I never dreamed back then that I would ever live to see my 50th birthday, hence my fanatical work ethic to reach my preset(late 1960's) safe zone target date by 30 yrs. of age.

I am still not married, but I couldn't ask for better co-workers at my current job and I couldn't be happier where my most favorite singer is concerned. :) :) :)

God bless you and Mason Ramsey and my co-workers always!!!

Holly (a girl who only loves Mason even more every day)
