How will Kamala tax the rich?

Hmmm. Where to begin?

How will Kamala give the middle income tax breaks? The Trump tax cuts from 2017 expire at the end of 2025 and Harris hasn't even talked about extending any of them, which would actually be a tax increase on the middle class. I think all she's done is talked about tax deductions for those with children, which means some of the poor, many of the middle class, and zero seniors would benefit from any plan she has. They will still be paying high prices for Biden's 26% inflation.

One thing She and the Congress could do tomorrow is to fully fund Social Security to where everyone pays into SS on every dollar they earn. Currently, the ultra rich don’t pay a cent in SS tax past the first week of January.
No shit, because we don't get any additional benefits by paying more than the maximum. Should the rich pay 10 times the cost for car insurance just because they are rich? You mooching deadbeat loser parasites need to pay your own damn bills.

Can the USD stand another 2 or 3 trillion in tax cuts?

We know now Joe and Kamala and the rest of the Progressive Socialists were not happy about that.
No Americans could have been informed and happy about not finishing the job.

Now Kamala intends on finishing the job with the Ukraine's help, and Trump seems to understand that the job can never be finished!

He's long past deciding that America is guilty of starting it again.

Will America defeat Russia, even if Trump wins?

Or will Trump bring in a new multipolar world and cooperation between superpowers?

Trump will likely use economic pressure on Russia. They're getting a pass on oil export sanctions for the sake of global oil prices. As we increase production, we can begin to shut down Russia's exports, barrel for barrel. This will collapse their funding for the war, which has already stressed their economy.

Trump put $1700 back in my pocket each year. :)
My husband and I had a lot more buying power too. Now we have to budget much more carefully as groceries, utilities, maintenance costs, healthcare costs etc. are all a whole lot more and our income has nowhere nearly increased enough to cover all that.

The secret is in throwing billions of dollars at the working class. The debt blows the secret. Socialism comes around to bite your asses if it's carelessly applied.

But the main point is, the socialist way is to spend more money on the middle class, while the Capitalist way is Supply side economics. Or Reaganomics.
The business class is in it for the money. The middle-class worker just wants to punch out at the end of his/her shift, crack a beer, put their feet up, and watch tv.

Reaganomics is just another way to say that the government should do only what it has to do to promote the general welfare and then get out of the way of the people who are the ONLY ones who can create prosperity. Trump fully embraces that concept except that he is more of a maverick and willing to try new things than even Reagan was. And so far, most of Trump's policies have resulted in more prosperity for the people as well as protecting America's interests.

I hear your opinion.

Does America wield the power to apply economic pressure on any member of the Brics?

If so then you would be definitely on to something!

The American working class on both sides are pissed off, and the ominous truth is that they're pissed off for the same reason.

They're all expecting results.

I'm afraid that winning the war against Russia is the first priority before anything can happen for them.

We can probably leverage India using our coal exports to them. India buys Russian oil at below market price, which means Russia is desperate to sell it.

If energy costs come down just a little it will have a positive and widespread effect. We can do this fairly quickly by adding to the global oil supply. I'd say get our own house in order then deal with the war. Of course, supplying Ukraine has great economic benefits for workers in our defense industry so we should continue with that.

well capital gains I think would be the first place. If you want to sell an asset, the Government will demand a bigger piece of their "fair share"

It will be a way to keep the population down and in their place.
You are right. Except the government wants way more than their share.

Introducing unrealized capital gains:
Your home is worth $500,000. Unrealized capital gains means you owe the government 45% of what you would get if you sold your house. You are going to get a tax bill from Kamala to the tune of $225,000.
If you think that sounds harsh, so does the response from Illinois:
JOLIET, Ill. — An Illinois county board member on Thursday suggested some residents "downsize" if they can’t afford their property taxes.
^

While you may think you are merely voting Democrat, what you are actually voting for is the Global Takeover 2030. No personal property is what you are actually voting for. That is what Illinois voted for and didn't even know it. They know it now.
You will own nothing and, like it, is their agenda.
Stop helping them to the finish line.
Vote for America. Vote for your children's sake. And their children's sake.

After Tuesday (or whenever) she won't be in any position to propose taxing anything.

I'm not even sweating it.

Lets hope not. I wish I had your confidence. There's been so much detremental false info being floated out there.

IF Kamala is elected AND the democrats keep their majority in the Senate AND can get 51 votes to abolish the filibuster AND also win a majority in the House THEN we can expect tax rate increases on both income and capital gains, primarily on the wealthy. They might also increase the ceiling on income subject to SSA taxes too. That's assuming they have 51 votes in the Senate to do those things, or if a few repubs join them.

But as it appears for now, the GOP is going to win the Senate. As noted above, the Trump tax cuts expire and the end of 2025, so it could come down to who blinks first: the dems to extend those tax cuts for everybody except the rich, or the GOP to extend all the tax cuts. 2026 is a midterm election where the democrats could take back the Senate cuz the repubs would have more seats up for grabs, so this struggle could impact those elections or be impacted by them.

If Trump wins, I think the GOP will take the Senate but only by a slim majority, so there will be a big fight over those expiring tax cuts. But how many senators will buckle under the pressure of those upcoming 2026 elections? I think Trump will be in effect a lame duck president from day 1, so I do not seem him as able to do whatever he pleases.

Hmmm. Where to begin?

Lots of nice pictures of the Chartwell mansion (America's most expensive home). That was the Beverly Hillbillies home. I always get a kick out of the fact that the guy who built the place for his wife as a surprise gilt, took her there on the ruse that they were going there to attend a party, and when they drove in and pulled up, the wife still not knowing he had built the place for them to live in remarked: "Who the hell would want to live in a place like this?"

That had to be about the worst day a man could ever have. I'm not sure if he ever told her that it was HER place!

So they never even moved in. He sold the place a few years later and I'm not sure if anyone has ever lived there! Last I heard, the place was valued at 750 million dollars, so probably a billion dollars today. There is a private wooded park on one end and the roof is made of solid copper and it has an elevator inside that goes 70 feet under ground, there is a room for a private orchestra, 12 bedrooms, and the elevator leads to a tunnel that takes you out back to a private pool and tennis court. I think it even has its own heliport so you can fly in and land there in your personal helicopter. Why drive on the road with the common people?
