How to improve the mental health of Americans.

lol!
so Cave dude, i have to ask just what 'reality' most subscribe to here.....~S~
Life is going to be a grind. The reality is one is going to wake up, go to work every day, just to hang on. 40 years of that, retire, pass away. Sounds awesome.

Oh i'm quite aware of my standing as the great unwashed IIFM, it's just what 'bent' is in the works to 'educate' the kids here that makes me LOL....~S~

In essense there really isnt all that much to look forward to.

I wonder if it was a good idea when we Americans collectively decided that we didn't want to live in the same building with hundreds of other similarly situated people and families. It works out OK in most of Europe.

We Boomers have massively discovered that tending to a piece of property is a giant pain in the ass, and have moved en masse to condo's, townhouses, and even apartments(!).

What sense does it make to have hundreds of virtually identical one or two story houses in a massive development? It is an enormous waste of resources and materials for no good purpose.

Build affordable houses that have room for a woodshop on a lot big enough for a nice garden. America is rich in land, use more of it for our people.

And lay out the developments in a grid pattern. No more twisty streets.
Two faults
You will run out of wood
Twisty streets are fascinating and fun .

Resubmit please .

No worries, Canada will provide all the lumber we need (and more homes should be built with concrete).
Twisty streets don't make appealing neighborhoods.

We should look at the "sweet spots" in our culture and return to them.

We (Vermonters) have all the wood we need.....my neighbor has a portable sawmill like many around me, and no, we won't be living in some sardine can, thx ~S~

True happiness is found from within. A person does not need a mate to find happiness. In fact, being independent of people and being satisfied is the key to happiness.
