Amazingly simple, when huge swaths of voters are trained to look at the truth and simply ignore it.
This is the result of Leftists control of the media and the education industry.
Sadly.

Sure it is because of leftist control, well if you ignore that the conservatives turned their heads and ignored the health crisis of HIV/AIDS because it was just some "gay cancer", and conservatives who ignore that if you cut off food stamps people are not going to magically take non-existent jobs and conservatives who ignore that illegal immigrants are working for them while said conservatives decry their existence. This is not a "liberal media" problem, it is that both parties have sold so much soap that people are now foaming at the mouths and then they can't figure out why.
