How Restaurants can come back close to full capacity-despite naysayers.

Not in all cases, each area and restaurant and customer base is different, and they will know their limitations as will city councils. DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE, but most of the US was safe to eat out before and will be after, not all places in the US are over crowded petry dishes.
Not sure if social distancing has ever been proven to work. Plus it's part of our lifestyle to go to bars to get lucky. Just open the restaurants and bars now for the Americans who want to have a fun time. If you would rather hide in your house than have fun like the rest of us, that's you choice.

Single People should not be upset that bars will still be closed during phase 1, because if you think people were stand offish before, what will it be like now. Beside everyone covering up their faces trying to drink and pick up each other, it's not gonna go well. :)

There isn't a new normal. There's a democrat demand to change normal. The goal is to put as many impediments to the restaurant business as possible. Limit hours of operation. Limit occupancy. Increase the need for more employees. Make it a financial nightmare. Put that restaurant out of business.

This doesn't apply to the very high end restaurants catering to the very wealthy. They will always be in business.

Yes. I don't like me the changes happening. But looking at it realistically, many people aren't going to rush out to restaurants and other places and will be making less trips to stores, etc. Businesses will have to adapt and they will.
The whole point of these little exercises is to Put business out of business. Then the government will have to step in and provide the goods and service.
