How Much Should Americans Be Taxed To Reduce The Effects Of Summer & Winter?

What's the name of your militia? Where are you regulated?
The right of the people. The Founding Fathers subsequent writings confirmed the individuals right to bear arms. Funny how this climate discussion turned into a gun thing, you loons are all about control.

“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” – Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774-1776

“A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.” – Thomas Jefferson, letter to Peter Carr, August 19, 1785

“I ask who are the militia? They consist now of the whole people, except a few public officers.” – George Mason

“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops.” – Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, October 10, 1787

“A militia when properly formed are in fact the people themselves…and include, according to the past and general usuage of the states, all men capable of bearing arms… “To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them.” – Richard Henry Lee, Federal Farmer No. 18, January 25, 1788

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…. The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun.” – Patrick Henry, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 5, 1778

Who do you see enacting taxes to reduce the effects of summer and winter?
Plenty of people trying but you already know that. Ever hear of Obama's “carbon tax” scheme? Sanders, Kerry, AOC, Gore, and many more have endorsed the idea of carbon taxes.

Funny.

The founding father's never would have put up with people running the streets shooting people.

We didn't get that until Heller in 2008 over 200+ years later.

You mean like the Crips and the Bloods? I agree.

Nevertheless, you haven't explained how raising taxes will lower global temperatures.

You know precisely what the whole world is doing in response to AGW. So why do you bother asking this question?
Why won't you bother answering it? How much tax money will it take to fix the globe? Where does that money go? Whose pockets does it land in?

The money will circulate all over the place like it always does. Everyone will get a crack at it.

Taxes solve nothing. Power plants should be required to shut down between 9am-5 pm M-F during warm months and sunset to sunrise during cold months.
Power plants should run at peak efficiency all the time.

Yeah, like the Crips, Bloods, the Bundy clan and any rightwing racist fuckup group.

Sure, we could use a .25% rise in sales tax to subsidize power companies to transition from coal to renewables. Use taxes to invest in carbon capture startups.

Etc..

And the rich will get richer; the poor will get poorer; and the climate will remain as is.
Such a small hands boi.

Did you know that US carbon emissions dropped 5% in first 6 months this year.

Of course, you didn't because you're in ill-informed fuckup with small hands.

If unchecked, the global temperature will climb a great deal more than 1 degree in the next century. Depending on how effective humans are at reducing GHG emissions, the increase could range from 3/4ths of a centigrade degree to almost 4 centigrade degrees. Responding effectively to this problem will require global action but fortunately, the energy and transportation sectors are moving rapidly on their own. I have my doubts change will happen rapidly enough to save us from some really unpleasant effects, but at least we're moving in the right direction.
hahahaha, no proof

In the next century, temperature may drop 1 degree.

Building more, manufacturing more, while getting less electricity from what we build is in the right direction, how?

You are quite possibly a danger to yourself from ignorance.
