I just bought a 1/4 of beef for $819, picked it up yesterday, so quit shopping at Costco.

It reminds me of advocates and lobbyists who try to minimize the taxpayer cost. They express their support in some miniscule way, such as "pennies per year." Of course, you can do this with anything. It all adds up, and the cutting has to start somewhere.

There are likely a bunch of members of this board who are paid to advocate for their special interest groups. You can talk about a million different things and never hear a peep from them. That's a good price best I can do is $1,044 and I passed that up. A quarter cow should give you somewhere around 75 to 80 Lbs of beef dressed, cut and wrapped.

Between all the lobbyists and Big Donors, the congress critters don't have time to think about the people they represent. And they certainly can't do what the middle class wants and rake in all that swamp money at the same time. I was on a Yahoo general forum that had a sub-forum called Climate Change. There were basically three posters who all had this connection to climate advocacy group called DeSmog Blog. The ringleader was this UK guy who bought a bot from BlackHatWorld. I could always tell when he attached the bot to a thread because the URL was 4x times longer.

The Yahoo forum was somewhat unique because prolific posters (called Level 7) had the ability to move threads to any sub-forum. So, this UK guy was Level 7 and would attach his bot to any thread contradicting "climate change." He would send the thread to some goofy sub-forum like Jokes & Riddles or Computers--Spam. If the thread maker tried to move his thread out of the obscure sub-forum, the bot would automatically move it back to obscurity in 30 seconds.

I am 100% sure these people were compensated.

If you were a career politician, what would motivate you to "serve" the American people? A true love for the needs of Americans or money? What would motivate American politicians to give $Billions upon $Billions of aid to foreign countries while Americans are suffering with high prices; low wages; and debt? Well, I found this interesting site. Career politicians make a lot of money from special interest PACs. Could it be that American politicians are paid handsomely to give more money to foreign interests which results in ignoring the needs of Americans?

Take a look at the names on this list. Both Democrats and Republicans get lots of money from these special interest groups. It appears that Democrats get the lion's share but both sides profit nicely:

Just remember that the German federal election cost a little more than one US Senate seat race. The US election cycle costs billions and a lot of the money comes from the rich.

The poster your attempting to have a conversation with is a known propagandist and a whiny liar who always complains about antisemitism while calling people he doesn’t like Muslims.

Of course you’ve also made plenty of threads critical of the Ukraine lobby, but old flame doesn’t give a darn about any of that.
