$6.97 a gallon today in Orange County, CA. Considering coming out of retirement and going back to work just to get my company car and gas card back....Lol!I paid $3.28 yesterday. We are camping on the panhandle of Florida.

That's for sure. I saw on the news that It's an all time record. And there's no end in sight. I feel sorry for struggling young people with families.Wow. That's up there.

Sad, but true. It's a vicious cycle that will have a residual effect on many people for a very long time.Yeah. I imagine credit card debt is rising fast. Realistically speaking, the majority of young Americans very likely have less than a couple hundred bucks in their bank accounts. If that. And living week to week. And no savings. It's a bad scene, for sure.

Also, by reducing 'gallons per week'.The U.S. vehicle average is 25 mpg. If it were 40 mpg (as with some people's cars), fuel prices would be much lower.
