So at least this story has a happy ending but my fiancée's aunt had found a couple outdoor feral cats. A male and a female cat. The female apparently was pregnant and filled up with milk. She had five kittens that she was taking care of. So much so that she was malnourished and skinny although leaking with milk as she was neglecting her own care and focusing more on caring for her babies.

Thankfully, the kittens were found tonight in a ballpark dugout, but I don't understand why his aunt took away the mother cat when it was plainly obvious that she was taking care of babies!! I don't think that you have to know much about cats or animals in general for that matter to know that you don't remove a mama cat from the outdoors if it's plainly obvious that she has kittens to care for.

In doing so her kittens could have certainly died. Especially since we currently have a snowstorm outside, but thankfully they were found and taken to an animal rescue before it hit. It's a true miracle that they survived, but she could have sentenced them to death and that really angers and upsets me.

If it angers and upsets you then tell her that. You come here soliciting other people's opinion on the matter as if you need your opinion confirmed by strangers on some message board. So weird.
