It reminds me of the saying 'If everyone jumps off a bridge, would you too?' Most people in this world don't live in truely free societies and are thus probably raised in a culture full of propaganda and lies. And the people who hold power in those countries, dictators, the media, corrupt politicans, all probably oppose freedom and truth because it would expose their lies and corruption. So naturally their first and foremost fear is American style democracy. So is it any surprise that most of the world's media and governments are anti-american?
