How long til we see the the positive benefits of this?

Based on the available information, there is no official count of the total number of federal employees fired due to the recent executive orders. However, estimates suggest the number could be substantial:
  1. Over 75,000 federal employees had accepted a "deferred resignation" offer as of February 12, 2025.
  2. The Internal Revenue Service alone was planning to fire 6,700 probationary employees.
  3. The Environmental Protection Agency fired 388 employees.
  4. The Department of Health and Human Services was in the process of firing about 5,200 health workers.
  5. At the Federal Aviation Administration, between 200 and 300 employees have been fired.
  6. USA TODAY reported that the total number of layoffs could surpass 100,000 workers.
These firings have affected multiple agencies, including the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, and Transportation, among others. The focus has been primarily on probationary employees, who generally have less job security. While an exact figure is not available, it's clear that the scale of these layoffs is significant and widespread across the federal government.
I say never. By the time this all plays out, the Democrats will be in-charge and fix this DISASTER.
Republican's always "screw it up"

That does not mean a private business gets to trash their resume, just because you have a reduction in force and wish to reduce head count. They would be sued, in class action and the class action would win judgment. I have no problem with a properly carried out reduction in force/headcount, but this one is stupid, and trashing them as poor performance with no write up is just wrong.

Do you believe in right and wrong, or is it just who is in power, and power alone, makes it right?
Who’s getting trashed? They’re no longer needed. Go away. Private sector people deal with this shit all the time but we’re supposed to feel bad for government workers? Why? I don’t give a fuck. You lived off my dime for a while and now you don’t, I’m happy with that. Go get another job and if you’re having trouble filling out your resume maybe it’s because the job you were doing wasn’t really that complex. Not my problem. Most of those people aren’t going to apply or are qualified for much more than a data entry job. That’s all they were before. It’s all they are now. Whatever they do it’s not our problem.
