How liars create the ‘illusion of truth’

That was when people couldn’t work due to COVID. What excuse did Biden have to throw trillions more into the economy at the SAME TIME the Fed was trying to lower interest rates.

I'm not making excuses for Biden but that this is where you go is exhibit 3002.

Face it. The enemy has been running the country into the ground - Obama’s two terms and Biden’s one. Thank Gd Trump won.

LOL.

You refuse to blame the illegals for their breaking the law. That is a major tell that you’re a liberal.

I do not. I said deport them many times. I then note that as long as their jobs are here, they will just turn around and return to them.

Coming to the U.S. illegally is a misdemeanor.

Hiring that illegal is a felony.

One that you defend and refuse to address.

Both sides of the aisle engage in these lies and deception, the gasliting that follows is customary. It is almost ubiquitous with anyone with any degree of higher authority or power today. I live in a nation that has misrepresented and lied about me across multiple situations for decades. Consider that fact...decades of repeated, reinforcement of lies. It is so absurd that it even took me some time to come to terms with this, "why"? I would ask myself. You learn far more about human nature than anything you could read in a book when you experience it first hand. For most of you, your first experience with this may have come during covid.

Until the libs like you stop focusing your ire solely on the bad businesss owners, and instead stop the incentives for the illegals to swarm in, your complaint rings hollow.

They are coming here because the welcome mat is being thrown open. To change that:

1) Beef up the border with a razor-wire wall
2) Hire 87,,000 more border agents and have them focus on blocking the illegals as they enter instead of processing paperwork to let them in.
3) Unless there is a child, no border agent should risk his own life to save illegals drowning in the river as they break into our country
4) NO free hotels, free meals, free toys for their kids, free maid and linen service

Watch the invasion slow to a trickle.
Perhaps you'd like to read thru the provisions of this bill..........

.........and explain why House Repubs killed it.

If the economy was not strong the stock market would not have had the best two consecutive years of gains since the 1970's.

Try as you might, you can not provide an example of the majority of a US political party believing in an overt, demonstrable lie like trump's false claims about election fraud costing him the 2020 election.

The only thing that explains it is the repetition of his lies and right wing media enabling them.
If the economy was strong why did the American People overwhelmingly vote for President Trump? He won the election, he won the Senate, he won the congress, he won the electoral college, and he won the popular vote.
The only thing that explains that is Bidenomics and the pain that everyone, (EVERYONE)!!! was feeling everyday.
So continue on with your lieing.

Repetition makes a fact seem more true, regardless of whether it is or not. Understanding this effect can help you avoid falling for propaganda, says psychologist Tom Stafford.

“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels. Among psychologists something like this known as the "illusion of truth" effect. Here's how a typical experiment on the effect works: participants rate how true trivia items are, things like "A prune is a dried plum". Sometimes these items are true (like that one), but sometimes participants see a parallel version which isn't true (something like "A date is a dried plum").
After a break – of minutes or even weeks – the participants do the procedure again, but this time some of the items they rate are new, and some they saw before in the first phase. The key finding is that people tend to rate items they've seen before as more likely to be true, regardless of whether they are true or not, and seemingly for the sole reason that they are more familiar.

I've not seen a better explanation for how so many lies spewed by trump have become adopted by The Following as the truth. Most of us intuitively know it to be so. What else accounts for the persistent belief in the Big Lie, and so many others?

But he can't do it alone. What doesn't get enough attention is the crucial role conservative media plays in reinforcing the lies trump tells. If Faux fact checked trump on a regular basis the country would be a far different place. But then Faux's on air personalities lie inveterately as well. It's an essential part of their business model. Not correcting a lie being almost as bad as starting one.

There's another name for the "illusion of truth" trumples so ardently believe in. Coined by trump's former chief propagandist, Kellyanne. It's called "alternative facts."

What began as a tortured excuse for Sean Spicer's inaugural crowd size lie has blossomed in to the belief in what is tantamount to a parallel universe. A safe place for The Following to retreat to when reality becomes unbearably inconvenient.
We've had four years of that by the Biden administration and decades of it from the MSM. That's why Kamala Harris lost so badly. Voters were getting tired of the blatant lies, cover ups, and illusions,

False equivalence #27,983.
No, not really. There might be false equivalency in terms of magnitude or intensity of the lie, made worse when media places a spotlight on one lie.over the other, but both sides engages in lies. Often blatant and embarrassing lies as it were.

If that were true trump would not be the prez-elect since his entire campaign was founded on a mountain of lies.

Did Trump just send stimulus checks to people who couldn’t work?

Nope. He sent them to almost everyone. That’s inflationary, isn’t it?

That's reality, not the addled construct in your dime store head.

Meanwhile we get "we won't take your ICE vehicles from you, but you can't buy a new one" from the left. We get "there is no illegal immigration crisis" from the left. We get "gender affirming care" to describe drugging and mutilating children from the left.
