I have long been acquainted with liberalism and use to find them kind of adorable in a naive, idealistic, immature, yapping lapdog kind of way, bitching about freedom, hating the U.S. Constitution, and insisting that whatever anyone else had they somehow deserved at least half of, if not more.
Well, now we have a blend of liberalism and communism that many people confuse with 'true' liberalism, but it is NOT liberalism. For instance, John F. Kennedy was adamant that lowering taxes was the only way to get a stagnant economy back on track. In addition, he famously stated in a speech "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". However, anybody today who express those John F. Kennedy liberal views is labeled by the left as "radical". Radical. It is "radical" in the minds of the modern day unhinged lefties to lower taxes or ask people to sacrifice for their country, rather than the country sacrificing everything for them. It is the putrid ideology from the mind of an evil avowed atheist escapee from the Soviet Union who had no use for love or charity or God. All modern day liberals want is rampant sexual deviance, the total destruction of a civilized society, and the permanent destruction of God. The deepest thought they are capable of producing is simpleton and irrational arguments for why they don't have to produce but have every right to be a parasite to society.
Modern day liberals have been completely exposed for the loveless and evil bitches that they are deep in their dark and disturbing souls. None of them will share what they have. None. Place a liberal on a polygraph and ask if they ever paid for the health insurance policy for an uninsured child and the answer will unequivocally be a resounding "no" each and every time. Likewise, ask them if they ever went without a meal to ensure that their fellow man had a hot meal, and once again the answer will unequivocally be a resounding "no" each and every time. Yet they will sit all day in a forum (such as USMB), refusing to work, refusing to hold a job and be a productive member of society, pretending to care sooo deeply about their fellow man. But as history has already proven and many have pointed out - the modern day liberal is quite generous with someone else's money. When it comes to their own, they won't share a damn thing.
Today's modern day liberal sells communism under the guise of liberalism - and it is not only rotting liberalism from the inside, like a cancer, but it's doing the same thing to America. $19 trillion in debt (on the verge of collapse). More people on food stamps than any time in U.S. history. Detroit - under total Democrat rule (both mayor and city council) for 60 years and now bankrupt. Just like the U.S.S.R. before, ignorant left-wing policy is collapsing the country, creating decay, dilapidation, poverty, and misery.
The take over of the Democrat Party movement by socialists/marxists/communists is a real disaster for the America as we enter a new age of technology in which jobs can easily and quickly be moved overseas because of ignorant liberal policies creating taxes and regulations too costly to keep the jobs here in America. Liberals pretend to care for other Americans, but at the end of the day, focus on brining everyone down into poverty because they are envious of anyone who has more than they do or does better than they do. It has never been about others for them - it has always been envy driving them to undermine and harm their fellow man.
America, if she is to survive, must find a way to shed itself of these useless evil parasites that are a pimple on America's ass or the America will die the well deserved death of wicked heresies ($19 trillion in debt and massive loss of freedoms because of communist liberalism has proven as much).
Liberalism is a religion, much like Islam.
Religion itself does not cause hatred. It's power hungry people who want to divide and conquer that manage to gin up hate among the separated groups. It's those who seek to control the world that foster hatred and violence.
I go to Amish stores a lot and despite the fact that their women have strict dress codes, they never look at me with disapproval for wearing a sundress or shorts. They sell things in their stores, like electrical appliances, that they don't believe in using. They sell overstock merchandise they buy in bulk from stores. That doesn't stop them from offering them up for those who do. One time when I was in there, two Amish men were talking and one was buying some pillows his wife wanted. He joked with my husband that life was easier when his wife got her way. It's about finding what you have in common and appreciating the differences. They go out of their way to accommodate people and not judge them. It's called tolerance.
Muslims, on the other hand, don't tolerate the differences in others. They don't want to follow our rules when they work in non-Muslim stores. Many refuse to handle bacon at check out and many taxi drivers refuse to allow a drunk or blind person with a dog into their taxi. I guess they don't understand that people are just being responsible when they call a cab instead of driving drunk and they don't care about our laws regarding handicapped people having equal access. They should be fired for such ignorance. They constantly discriminate and cry religion every time. They also do not bake cakes for gay weddings. The very idea of expecting them to accommodate those who are non-Muslim is offensive to them.
Why does the left support them when they so clearly are only interested in doing things their way and they do not recognize that people in this country have rights?
While the Amish go above and beyond to be kind to those with opposing beliefs, the Muslims go out of their way to oppose non-Muslims.
Maybe libs tolerate Muslims because they have a lot in common with them, namely the insistence that followers never question them and never offend them by being kind to those seen as the enemy.
Liberals constantly claim they are all about tolerance. They claim they are all about elevating people through education. They claim a lot of things but their actions rarely match their actions.
The support of Islam by the left seemed to come about after Obama was elected. The same people who despised Christianity suddenly defended the most oppressive religion ever known.
And even our schools began to embrace it. Liberals claim that kids making prayer rugs, then kneeling on them to pray to allah or writing the Islam conversion prayer in calligraphy is merely teaching them about various religions. Of course, they don't delve nearly as deep into other religions. They teach the tenets of Islam but not the Ten Commandments. They don't encourage students to put on a nun's habit and say a Christian prayer.
Teaching the basics is no longer the goal in our public schools. Teaching liberal ideology is the goal and they manage to weave it throughout the curriculum. Teachers in every subject find ways to push the left's agenda. Bashing conservatism is acceptable. Bashing liberalism will get a teacher fired or reprimanded. Colleges continue the indoctrination.
Liberals run our schools like a religion. It means, much like Muslims, that their version of truth will be taught and that it will never be questioned. Muslims teach that infidels are evil and that the Holocaust never happened. That's called indoctrination. Their religion is closed minded and does not allow any of their ideas to be challenged. Rejecting any part of it is a punishable sin.
It's getting that way in our schools. Liberals are teaching that Republicans are evil and selfish. They've rewritten history to support their current narrative. And they discourage dissention or other views from being discussed. Once the education (indoctrination) is complete, the person is deemed fully educated and will always see the world through the narrow scope of their 'education.' That is what we are seeing with many protesters on the streets. They've been taught that the right is evil and must be defeated. Many cannot articulate exactly why they are doing what they are doing and generally start spouting the usual accusations, even when they don't fit. They only know that a non-liberal has been elected and their indoctrination causes them to reject anything that was not in their teachings.
If they deem that someone is an evil Republican, anyone who would cite the good things about that person will also be called evil. If they say Trump is racist and you talk about the charity work he has done, your approval of any of his actions will get you labelled racist. That's how liberals roll these days. It's no different than Muslims. Closed minded and intolerant of all who believe differently than they do.
It's a screwed up religion where the liberal leaders are their Gods and they will obey without question.
Their god has told them that open borders are good, guns are bad, high taxes are good, freedom and liberty are bad and so forth. They need not understand it, just believe it.
While the left hasn't beheaded people yet, there are death threats to those entertainers who dared to agree to perform at Trump's inauguration. Hmm, death threats just for offending liberals. There is chaos in the streets and people being attacked for not being one of them. All of this seems awfully familiar.
So any disagreement of liberal policies will put you in their crosshairs. You are the enemy because you do not blindly toe the liberal line. No amount of reason, evidence or explanations will cause them to stop with the empty accusations of racism, bigotry, homophobia, greed, or Islamophobia. Their teachings do not allow such. And I think the names that liberals call all on the right are substitutes for the word, infidel. Neocon, alt-right and other derogatory names are their way of labelling the non-believers of the liberal doctrine.
Liberals claim they, like Muslims, are peaceful and tolerant. I guess they have their own definition of these things and they now mean openly hating people and doing anything to keep them from power, including violence and threats. In that case, I guess Islam and liberalism are peaceful, tolerant religions.
Both rewrite history to hide their past. Both loathe Christians and Jews. Both demand indoctrination and blind followers. Both claim to practice tolerance while demonstrating the opposite. And neither really want peace until they rule the world. Until then, they believe that violence is the best way to advance their agenda. While libs will deny that, they have strongly supported the violent protests these past years and they praised groups who stated that violence, and even death, is the only way to get through to people.
