How easy it will be for you to vote for Trump; after you first cried about his win.

War, Recession, losing a major city..
If you mean Iraq, while I hate being in wars, and lucky me in the Army I was not in any, taking out Saddam Hussein was a major good thing Bush did. What city did Bush lose?

Nope. Still doesn't mean you guys weren't a large part of the problem.
What if you get blamed for the fuck up done to us by Biden?

Nope, I was an E-6. They offered me an E-7 position right before I got out, but I was completely done with the nonsense by then.
I had been a company clerk. I went on a month vacation and ended up in Berlin, Germany and upon getting back to my unit, that was a HQ and HQ unit in a Battalion was told to meet with the Colonel. He told me of a problem at the Army Airfield and said he would like me to go there to help the Airport get straightened out. The Airfield was run by a Captain who was a drunk. How the Army left him in amazed me. I learned what he did to keep in the Army over time. At that airfield, a pilot landed and was in the room casually talking to me. Being an officer around airplanes kept the officers from acting stern about talking or saluting them. This man ended up telling me he could send me to OCS in the States and give me a job working under him as an Officer. As you did, i said nope. This man shifted and suddenly I realized he was not just an officer, he was a Major General. I got other offers to stay in and collect large sums of cash. But you know what the Army is like. I simply had better things to do back in California.

You guys looked at people with shit credit and sold them big old McMansions they couldn't really afford. Because everyone was convinced, they could hold the McMansion for a few years and flip it for a profit.
I told you several things that you shut your eyes about. First my area was part of Silicon Valley. It is an area of affluent people. Now it is about 65 percent Asians. I was blessed to be in area where those problems you mention seldom happened. Most of my clients were professionals. And professionals don't tend to get fooled.

Realtors are licensed by their states. And they work hard if they manage to survive in that industry. I have seen firms vanish and go broke. Take the Real Estators who were a large office in fremont, CA that years back looked so prosperous they would last forever. They shut the doors on one day and collapsed. Realtors must work their asses off to care for their own obligations such as family. Property Professionals lasted a long time and then they vanished. Woodren Realty, huge when I was first a salesman went broke.

But that's the whole point, pre-2008, those regulations didn't mean much.

I compare what I had to go through in 2004 to get a mortgage compared to what I went through in 2021 to get a mortgage.

Keeping in mind that I was in a far better position in 2021 (no credit card debt, an 800+ Credit score, and owning actual property on the market, having substantial savings in the bank.)

But they STILL scrutinized me much heavier than they did in 2004.

Side note, I bought my place no money down through a VA loan, compared to 10% down this time not going through the VA.

The Pre-2008 market was the wild west, and we all paid a price for it.

But the Bankster convinced stupid people that it was poor people buying houses and not their shenanigans that were the problem.

If you mean Iraq, while I hate being in wars, and lucky me in the Army I was not in any, taking out Saddam Hussein was a major good thing Bush did. What city did Bush lose?

New Orleans, stupid.

Um, no, taking out Saddam made things Substantially worse for the following reasons.

1) Bush had to pull troops out of Afghanistan to ramp up for the war in Iraq. This gave the Taliban and Al Qaeda a chance to regroup.
2) Bush's insistence on going to war over the objections of the UN and NATO weakened US prestige.
3) Taking out Saddam enabled radical Shi'ite militias that now run Iraq.
4) It created ISIS when disillusioned Sunnis realized they weren't going to be in power,
5) It completely undermined our position with moderate Islamic states who say the Iraq war as a grab for Oil.
6) 5000 dead American Servicemen and anywhere from 200,000 to 1 million dead Iraqis.

The big winner of the Iraq was Iran.

But you know what the Army is like. I simply had better things to do back in California.

Actually, I seriously considered making the Army a Career. But after the Gulf War, I thought better of it.

What if you get blamed for the fuck up done to us by Biden?

Biden did fine. We were too stupid to appreciate him.
Then again, 41% of Americans, most of them on the right, think that humans and dinosaurs coexisted.

The people responsible for the 2008 Crash - Bush for refusing to us the structures to keep them from doing what they did, the real estate industry for running up prices, and the banks for recklessly loaning and then selling the bad mortgages as investments.
