Ladies and gentlemen, President Trump has been able to enact some great spending cuts. But left has been able to successfully push that absurd notion that tax cuts are expenses that have to be paid for. This false narrative absolves the left of their rampant spending, by assuming such spending is necessary by default. They point to the ballooning deficit as the reason. The correct response is, "No, to reduce the deficit, we must cut spending". Allowing people to save their own money is not "spending".

Take your own personal budget. Let's say you decide to set aside $500 extra each month as savings. Do you ask yourself "How will I pay for that?" Of course not. It's absurd jiu jitsu by the Marxist left to justify massive spending. I believe Bill Clinton started this silly rhetoric. Clinton as we know was a master of lies and deception. Clinton told us "Tax cuts are expenses" and "Government spending is investment". Just the opposite of reality. But the leftwing media runs with it.

Actually, nothing has been enacted.

Trump’s “big beautiful bill” is mired in the Senate.

Then there’s this:

“absurd notion that tax cuts are expenses that have to be paid for. “

Cutting revenue without cutting costs is irresponsible in the extreme.

Trump’s 2017 tax bill grew the deficit by $5 trillion.

His “big beautiful bill” has over $4 trillion in new deficits already built in to it.

And then there’s this:

“Take your own personal budget. Let's say you decide to set aside $500 extra each month as savings. Do you ask yourself "How will I pay for that?" ”

Of course you do! You only get to set it aside if you reduce what you spend on something else. That money does not fall from the sky, even if you think it does!

DOGE cuts have been made already, saving billions.

I'm glad you agree spending on programs has to be cut. But the idea of referring to tax savings as spending or
giveaways to the rich is total nonsense. It's money the government never had and never had a claim to.

That is an offensive statement that says "we are entitled to your taxes". DOGE has proven how irresponsible the Federal govt has been with our money.

Currently, the GOP is addressing how it can win this argument with taxpayers.

Force the Marxist to justify every expenditure under the umbrella of how it furthers the National interest.

This will force the public and Congress to reevaluate spending and its allocation.

For instance, spending money to get minorities into Marxist education institutions by assigning them the label "Disadvantaged".

When in fact, it would be cheaper and more effective, not to mention morally superior to the left's stance, to invest those dollars in the families and schools BEFORE the kid becomes disadvantaged. This would eliminate the need for racist programs by the Feds, which tarnish us all.

Force them to justify the expenditure. And do away with baseline budgeting.

Additionally, the Congress and Senate should be forced to balance a budget by making them ineligible for reelection if they do not.

DOGE cut billions. Didn't you hear all those fired deep-staters griping?

Doge cut nothing. Those are recommendations, and the courts are involved.

We will see where this goes.

I see the Pope is going to speaking from Chicago via digital during Trump's birthday parade.

If DOGE didn't cut anything, then why did all those government workers disappear?

What we need to do is restore a culture/understanding that it is not the government's money. It is the people's money.

And the people having more of their own money. . .
. . . to spend that spurs economic growth,. . .
. . . to save (that provides more more for those who need to borrow),. . .
. . .to invest (that helps grow businesses and/or provides revenues for towns, cities, school districts etc.),. . .
. . . to expand their businesses or start up new businesses that creates new and better jobs. . .
is a good thing and promotes the general welfare.

In other words tax cuts do not have to be 'paid for" if they are done right and accomplish all that. They will almost always increase treasury revenues overall.

How is simply firing a bunch of people, then realizing in haste you cut a bunch of people that were important, ....waste, fraud and abuse being caught and eliminated?

Doge, illegal firings have been reinstated with the Court cases working through....Elon is down to DOGE now saving $97 billion, instead of the $2 Trillion he boasted would be cut....
