"How do you pay for tax cuts?" - Conservatives Need to Destroy this False Premise.

Ladies and gentlemen, President Trump has been able to enact some great spending cuts. But left has been able to successfully push that absurd notion that tax cuts are expenses that have to be paid for. This false narrative absolves the left of their rampant spending, by assuming such spending is necessary by default. They point to the ballooning deficit as the reason. The correct response is, "No, to reduce the deficit, we must cut spending". Allowing people to save their own money is not "spending".

Take your own personal budget. Let's say you decide to set aside $500 extra each month as savings. Do you ask yourself "How will I pay for that?" Of course not. It's absurd jiu jitsu by the Marxist left to justify massive spending. I believe Bill Clinton started this silly rhetoric. Clinton as we know was a master of lies and deception. Clinton told us "Tax cuts are expenses" and "Government spending is investment". Just the opposite of reality. But the leftwing media runs with it.

The reason extending these tax cuts affect the budget, is because they expire...so the cost of the tax cuts that ended, have not been in the forecasts of our budget deficits over the following 10 year projections.

By adding the tax cuts back in to the budget that were to expire, adds to our projected budget deficits over the next 10 years....

Saving your own money is not a "cost". It didn't cost me anything to save my money. This is the kind of pretzel logic propaganda we have to stop.

Okay, first - we ain't talking about new tax cuts, we are talking about extending the existing tax structure. Which BTW ends this year, take that away and IMHO you are looking at the possibility of a recession. Most peoples' taxes aren't going to be reduced if the current tax rates are extended, so I'm not seeing the inflation issue. But if the tax cuts are not extended then it's true that gov't revenue will increase cuz people will be paying more taxes, but it ain't linear; anytime you mess with tax rates there is ALWAYS a consequence because people will change their behavior to deal with the new reality of higher taxes. To ignore that is ridiculous.

So - IMHO no extensions means trouble for most people. I would not want to see even lower tax rates than what is currently on the books, but no higher either. If the tax cuts are not extended then for sure gov't revenue will go up and the debt/deficits will fall depending on how much they spend. But how much is anybody's guess; what the final bill is (if it passes) is unknown and so is the associated uncertainty, along with Trump's tariffs and God only knows what else happens. To a large extent we are in uncharted waters and I don't believe anyone really knows what the future holds.

DOGE cut billions. Didn't you hear all those fired deep-staters griping?
DOGE can not just proclaim cutting... Congress has to legislate and pass those Doge cuts before they are cuts, and not just estimated cuts.

Congress did not legislate any DOGE cuts in this big, beautiful, bill....

If you have a job that pays 10K a month and you spend 10K a month you are balanced.

If you lose that job and get one that pays 9K a month, you don't keep spending at 10K a month.

Or do you ?

That's laughable from the biggest dummy on the boards.

Each DEPT has funding (from congress). They have people in charge. If DIGE finds waste on their books. Fraud or a Better method. Cutting contracts etc. They don't go back to Congress for micro management you lying bag of crap. They run their show.

You idiots vote to destroy this country, OK with criminal theft by Deep State or massive election Fraud, torture of American citizens? Yeah you are the enemy. Enemy within, enemy of the republic. Gloves Off 03NOV2020. No more Mr. Nice guy. You need put down.

The budget projections over the ten year period required....

can only by law, be calculated with real legislated numbers. Because the Trump admin could not afford to make these tax cuts permanent and fit them in to their 10 year budget when they passed them in 2017, they played a game, and had them expire when Trump was suppose to leave office in his second term, so the next president could face having to renew them, in to their budgets....instead of the first trump admin just doing it then and showing how they would affect the full 10 yr budget....

They did the same thing in this big, beautiful, bill....look at the fine print....

They are telling us that they have cut taxes on overtime hours, and on tips earned and several other things constituents love,

But guess what? Those provisions and tax cuts...EXPIRE when the Trump term is up....in 3 years...they all will need to be extended when they expire....in their ten year budget deficit projections of what this bill will cause in deficits and add to the national debt, DO NOT HAVE the cost of bringing in less revenue from these cuts, past the three years....past when they expire....

So we are being given false and rosey projections of what the ten year deficit will actually be.

I’ve been calling out libtards on this for years. A lack of income in not an expense.

DOGE cuts have been made already, saving billions.

I'm glad you agree spending on programs has to be cut. But the idea of referring to tax savings as spending or
giveaways to the rich is total nonsense. It's money the government never had and never had a claim to.

Nearly everything DOGE tried to do has been stayed by courts. A lot of people are on administrative leave, collecting their paychecks.

Federal spending is still increasing.

Tax savings are spending, because you have to borrow the shortfall.

Sorry, but this is just plain stupid.

Says the biggest know nothing lowIQ isolated cabin fevered old sack of shheeat in the USA. Never any factual links jut Stain mouth spew hoping no one will notice and accept it?

I prefer DOGE own website puss bag.

The DOGE website is total propoganda. It regularly posted false, exaggerated, and laughably false claims.

All the while, fighting hard to conceal what they were doing, and even who worked for it.

Transparency is not big in the Trump regieme, and DOGE is a prime example.

Psst! You have never been Mr. Nice Guy....you've always been nasty, rude, and vile on this board! Maybe in real life you are nice to someone, some where, at some time, but not on this board.

And once again, you're wrong or simply uninformed.

Yes, DOGE changes n cuts have to be legislated in Congress. They promised Elon they would make them later on, but for some technical reason it could not all be done in this budget bill....something to do with reconciliation....so, we will see if they get to them down the road?

Trump lost in 2020, (the Big Lie is still a lie) and Trump and his goons, tried to steal the election from Joe Biden through various election subversion schemes.

This is 100% false.
