I entered the word "Mormon" in the search routine and checked "Search Titles Only".
It came up with eight pages. I was surprised to an extent, although it does appear that Mitt Romney's presidential run did seem to generate many of them.
I see many on "evidence" of the Book of Mormon.
I see many on how the Mormon Religion is false.
I saw several attacking Jospeh Smith.
I can't say I ever thought about going after the Catholic Church (I don't know if there is anything to go after) or any of the protestant churches.
I wonder about the time spent attacking anyone...just because I have questions about how people approach faith.
Where does "faith" enter into the discussion (not about mormons, but about fundamental things like the Atonement of the Saviour) and how does that discussion look when it takes place.
Ultimately, what does your faith hope for....what is your expecation in the eternal sense.
What does that conversation look line between a Muslim and a Catholic? A Jew and a Buhdist?
I would contend that this is a more productive conversation, as long as it is an exchange of ideas. Telling someone how to live does not work. Inviting them to try something seems much much more respectful. But even then, that has to acknowledge certain things.
This not about mormonism, although the mormon definition of faith is sure to arise. This is about why we do what we do and what we think it will accomplish.
