There ARE STILL 20 million new government dependents on Commie Care AND STILL over 20 million more people on food stamps than when DumBama invaded the White House. If the Republicans didn't cut back on some of the SNAP'S benefits, there would probably be the same amount as it's peak during DumBama's first term.

So it had nothing to do with the recession. Without the expansion of food stamps, nobody would have died from starvation. The Democrat goal is to create as many government dependents as possible. The more government dependents--the more likely Democrat voters.

I'm not even sure what you're going off about here fruit loop. I've never particularly complained about paying the taxes I've paid, aside from the bullshit of the ACA tax. However, I'm not inclined to pay yet more again for the nation to support even higher numbers of useless idiots. One must understand the purpose of welfare programs was not to create an entire class of poor people who spend generations there, it was to help out those who had a rough year. Very similar to why businesses maintain profit margins - not so they can extend the life of a failing product, but to ride out economic downturns and stay in business. Those poor who choose to stay poor by inaction or bad financial decisions are not worthy of assistance and have no right, neither moral nor legal, to pilfer my coffers merely to continue their laze for eternity. The entire point was to help them through a rough period of time, not support them and their entire family for generations and generations.

It's not "patriotism" to contribute to a losers addictions.

Here's the thing chief - people who have children are required by law to provide for them properly. Failing to do so is called "Child Endangerment". If there are people out there not feeding their children - put them in prison where they belong. Then hook 'em up on a chain gang and work their ass 12 hours per day repairing roads. The tax dollars saved on the roads can then be used to feed their children.

My grandfather was the orphan of irish immigrants. When he graduated high school he enlisted in the navy (wwII) and served his country faithfully on the shores of Japan. He came home and worked for the police department. He advanced and worked for the fbi. Dedicated his whole life to this country and never voted republican in his life. He raised a family of passionate Democrats who run our local Democratic party. He believed no true American would ever vote Republican, he was a very smart man.

I greatly appreciate his service to this country. He sounds like an honorable man. Unfortunately, like a lot of immigrants, he doesn't sound like a very bright man. He was duped along the way (most likely by always working government jobs - surrounding him with people who rely on big government for their livelihood).

In any case - I respect the fact that he wasn't a parasite. He contributed. He served. He earned.

A small percentage of our population controls the large majority of our money. That's not an accident. That's on purpose, that's the system. For average Americans, the the last several decades they have seen living costs and education costs sky rocket. And pay climb slowly. For young families, it is very hard to make ends meet and the struggle is only intensifying with the growing wealth inequality.

They have nobody to blame but themselves and the Dumbocrats. The laughable "wealth inequality" that the left always cries about actually expanded under 8 years of Barack Obama. That's what happens with failed left-wing policy.

In a true free-market, everyone receives exactly what they deserve. Nothing less. Nothing more.
