We are called to pray for our enemies. We pray God's will for them. King David murdered a friend so he could have sex with the guy's wife. But not only was he not a demon, God called David the apple of His eye.
Praying God's will for others leaves us off the hook and gives the judgment robe back to Jesus, who died for the sins of David, and the murderer of Kirk. Let Christ decide who to salvage and who not to. When Christ told the disciples about their futures, they asked about John's future. He told them it was none of their business. What God has in store for another is really none of our business.
We can ask God, if it is His will, to soften hearts and hope for the Holy Spirit to convict those who have no love, and just leave the rest to the Lord to work out...
