The GOP conveniently started talking about voter fraud in 2012 just in time for the election. Republicans voters suddenly started pretending this was an epidemic all along and supported more voter ID laws even though actual voting fraud is statistically very rare. Apparently the very rare instances are enough for republicans to blow it up to be some rampant problem even though that is a fantasy.
