The issue most pubs have with immigrants, is our welfare system. They don't want to see their tax dollars being used to bring in more welfare dependents. Take that away and most pubs are immigrant fans, I suspect. Well, at least the ones that don't live in LA where the illegal immigrant gangs are running the city.

ILLEGAL immigration has everything to do with poverty. Unless you think those flooding our border have college degrees and are contributing more than they are taking. In which case it is you that should be embarrassed.

Then something happened and millions upon millionS upon millions of Americans were thrown out of work.

What an ignorant post. We also had massive credit injections from the US Government building a massive housing and college bubble. Basically, sure we had millions of illegals and still managed to have "full employment," but it could not possibly last. Also, mass illegal immigration helped cause a stagnated and even decline in pay VS inflation.

Lets pretend there are 3 levels of jobs based on pay alone. low, medium, high paying jobs. Now, what happens when you flood the low paying jobs with low skill, low wage (no taxes) illegals? That's right dumb ass, people head to college, build debt and try and move up to the medium level jobs.....


Now what happens when you flood the medium level jobs with millions and million and millions of Americans who are legal with college education? That's right, you get lower demand to higher as the work force is flooded... Too bad these people can't as easily go back down to low paying jobs seeing as illegals that employers pay no taxes on hold many of these jobs.... How do you compete? I know! You stand in a giant line of people collecting welfare!

Ayup... we paid our corporations to move our production, now engineering jobs to china, india, south America, we pay our poor to get free college educations, we pay our people to not work, we hire illegals to do the labor jobs, we spend precious blood and resources in the sands of the middle east, we burn cash for shovel ready shit, we sue the shit out of our energy production, we stop all new large manufacturing attempts in the US to save turtles, then we look around in surprise when our economy, previously strongest economy the planet ever saw, tanks.
