How Bad Is It Really For Women In Afghanistan?

some things America just can't fix... we can do everything else right, but we can't remake or modernize culture without the people wanting to. so with that in mind, here is some disturbing news from Afghanistan about the very poor rights of women there... granted, it is an upgrade over the Taliban, but this is still shameful. Above all else, keep in mind that this is not America's fault (though the article has three bits of bush-bashing (a requirement for writers to have their articles published in liberal media these days), it is not blaming America for this, but the Afghan government and society), and that we need to continue to do what we can to help these women get their natural rights.
