Last I heard they could not pay their bills, vast tracks of abandoned housing, crime so bad many people will not travel there. The cities blacks have been rioting, burning, looting all Democrat run.

But, to suggest this nation is on the precipice of ruin and about to fall into a communist state is laughable at best, delusionally paranoid at worst. There is no such thing as unrestricted or laizze faire capitalism. No where on earth. There are checks on the abuses of capitalism as well as bits and pieces of socialism to ensure domestic tranquility and promote the general welfare. Expecting pure, unadulterated capitalism to be beneficial to each Cotonou is a fool's game. It just won't work that way. There's not profit in it.
