I wish to build again on my thread here:
How about a simple solution US Message Board - Political Discussion Forum
Many times parallels have been drawn between the colonization of the United States and how it affected the Native Americans; and the I/P conflict. Sure there are many many differences, but again, there are many similarities. The native americans had a much different culture from the Europeans, just as the Israelis and the Palestinians. I'm going to slip this in as well. It can on the very surface be seen that it is not fair to those who lived in Israel when the state was formed. I admit that. Neither was it in the long run for the Indians when the Europeans came.
But here is a story of hope that is in keeping with my original thread. It is the story of the western apache bands in eastern arizona.
Take a read here:
Fort Apache History
I hope you read it all since I am not going to quote any of it here. I will give a quick synopsis. There were a few different tribes/bands of Apaches who lived on and loved their land (like the Palestinians) but realized that they could not defeat militarily their foes (they saw what was coming). Instead, they invited the Europeans to build a fort on their land. It wasn't all smooth as there were some skirmishes and even Goyathlay came along and took some off with him. But years later, they have no European/American control per se and have the most beautiful land that I have yet to see in the United States. And a lot of it.
p.s. do please make note that my article linked is on the official WMAT server before you say it is bs propaganda.

Let's try this. What if "Palestine" declared independence as a free, peaceful, and non-violent state within all of Gaza and every part of the West bank that is under their control right now.
